Plant-based milk is a good alternative to animal milk in a latte for a few reasons. First, it is lower in saturated fat and calories, which can be beneficial for those looking to maintain a healthy diet. Additionally, plant-based milk is free from lactose, which makes it a great option for people who are lactose intolerant or have other dairy sensitivities. Finally, many plant-based milks offer unique flavours and textures that can add a fun twist to a classic latte recipe.

There are many different types of plant-based milk available, each with their own unique flavour and nutritional profile. Some examples of plant-based milk that can be used in a latte include:

  1. Soy milk – Made from soybeans, soy milk is a popular option for lattes as it has a creamy texture and mild flavour that pairs well with coffee.
  2. Almond milk – Made from ground almonds and water, almond milk has a nutty flavour and is a good source of vitamin E and other nutrients.
  3. Oat milk – Made from oats and water, oat milk has a creamy texture and sweet flavour that pairs well with coffee.
  4. Coconut milk – Made from coconut meat and water, coconut milk has a rich and creamy texture and a slightly sweet flavour that can add a tropical twist to a latte.
  5. Cashew milk – Made from cashews and water, cashew milk has a creamy texture and nutty flavour that can add depth to a latte.

Overall, plant-based milk is a versatile and delicious alternative to animal milk in a latte, and can offer a range of unique flavours and nutritional benefits.
