Here’s our take on a delectable Matcha Parfait. There’s no real quantity to the ingredients in the recipe and most of it depends on the size of your glass or your need (or in this case, your want! ha!). What we list here is just and estimate so feel free to improvise!
Betcha Matcha Parfait!
This recipe uses a 300 ml glass.
INGREDIENTS
3g Matcha Powder
15g White Chocolate
50g Matcha Granola
20g Azuki Red Bean Paste
4 pcs Green Tea Dango or Mochi
4 pcs Japanese Kanten Jelly
1 slice Matcha sponge cake (optional)
20ml Whipping Cream (whipped)
2 g Icing Sugar (optional)
1 scoop Matcha Ice Cream
2 Frozen Raspberry
2 Matcha sticks
METHOD
1. Melt the white chocolate and add a little matcha powder. Mix till well combined.
2. Layer the matcha white chocolate at the base of the glass
3. Add a layer of matcha granola
4. Add a layer of Azuki red bean paste
5. Add in the matcha mochi & kanten jelly
6. Top up with another layer of matcha granola
7. Throw in a couple cubes of matcha sponge cake
8. Whip the whipping cream till soft peaks (with sugar if you like it sweeter)
9. Add whipped cream at the top of the bowl
10. Decorate with a scoop of matcha ice cream, matcha granola, frozen raspberry, sprinkle of matcha powder & a drizzle of matcha white chocolate.
